I have made a few Classipress wordpress sites. Anyone that makes their own website tends to want to control what is displayed in the footer area, thus the necessity to edit the footer area of classipress.
- Log-in to the wordpress admin.
- Go to appearance/editor.
- Scroll down and fine theme-footer.php and click on it.
- Find<div class=”right”>
<p><a target=”_blank” href=”http://www.appthemes.com/themes/classipress/” title=”Classified Ads Software”><?php _e(‘Classified Ads Software’,’appthemes’); ?></a> | <?php _e(‘Powered by’,’appthemes’); ?> <a target=”_blank” href=”http://wordpress.org/” title=”WordPress”>WordPress</a></p>
- Change the hrefs to point where you want and change the <?php ?> parts to the anchor text you want, deleting the php.
See the below video for visuals on how to edit the footer links in classipress.
